The capital of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Port Blair is just a two-hour flight away from mainland India. Andaman and Nicobar are a conglomeration of as many as 570 islands (only 36 of which are currently inhabited) and Port Blair is the entry point for visiting these islands.
